With the hundreds of different WWE and WWF wrestlers that have competed throughout the years, only a handful have found abundant financial success from their endeavors. Most of the best off wrestlers have found success outside the ring in acting, music, and in other business pursuits. Here are the top ten richest wrestlers in the world.

Mick Foley

Worth: $15 million

Mike Folley was just recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame April this year. Foley is a four-time world champion, 11-time tag team champion, and was awarded the first WWF Hardcore Champion.

Worth: $16 million

The Undertaker, is widely considered to be one of the absolute best wrestlers to ever step into the ring in the WWE. He holds an unrivaled record of being the only wrestler ever of being undefeated at WrestleMania with a 21-0 record. He is also one of the oldest active members in WWE. He has been involved in at least one way or another with the sport since 1984.

Shawn Michaels

Worth: $17 million

Sean Michaels is often attributed to being one of the people who made the WWE/WWF popular back in the early 90’s. For his years of hard work and inspiration he was admitted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011. He is widely considered to be one of the most gifted sports-entertainers in the world. Since retiring in 2010, he has spent a lot of time with his wife and children and supporting his favorite basketball team the San Antonio Spurs.

Worth: $18 million

Chris Jericho currently competes in the WWE, but had spent quite a bit of time with the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and in a number of Canadian, Mexican, and Japanese promotions. In addition to his career inside the ring, he is also a musician, media personality, actor, author, and businessman. He is probably one of the most versatile individuals in all of wrestling in terms of his ambitions.

Kurt Angle

Worth: $20 million

Kurt Angle has found success both in the WWE and at the Olympics. He won an Olympic Gold Medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games for 100kg men’s wrestling freestyle. Prior to his medal he also won at the 1995 World Championships in Atlanta and took bronze at the 1992 World Cup event in Moscow. This makes him the only gold medal winning professional wrestler in history. In recent times Kurt Angle has been toying around with the idea of competing in the UFC.

After having an amazing career in the WWE, having been the 13-time world champion, and the World Heavyweight Championship 5 times, Triple H now works for the WWE as the Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events.

Worth: $30 million

The seven foot tall giant, Big Show, comes in at number four. Over the course of his career he has been named world champion on 7 different occasions and has won the World Heavyweight Championship twice. In recent times he has began to focus more on his acting career. He has had roles in films including The Waterboy, Star Trek: Enterprise, and the comedy-drama show Royal Pains, and the action-drama Burn Notice.

Besides being a professional wrestler, John Cena is also a professional bodybuilder, musician, and actor. He is the current WWE Champion in his record-breaking 11th reign. In total, he was won 20 different championships and has won the World Heavyweight Championship twice. Another amazing record John Cena holds is outside the ring. He is the biggest granter of wishes in the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s history. He has granted over 300 wishes for children suffering from life-threatening illnesses. Subsequently, he was awarded the 2009 Chris Greicius Celebrity Award for his charitable actions.

Steve Austin

Steve Austin, known to his fans as “Stone Cold” Steven Austin, is now retired from wrestling. Over his career he was one of the most influential wrestlers of his time. He was one of the most popular through the late 90’s and at the turn on the century. Throughout his career he has held 25 championships and was the winner of the 1996 King of the Ring tournament was well as the 1997, 1998, and 2001 Royal Rumbles. As a consequence of his fabled career, he was introduced into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. Most recently he has returned to the sport to host the new reality series Tough Enough.

The Rock

Worth: $70 million

The Rock, born Dwayne Johnson is by far the richest WWE wrestler in history. With that said, he didn’t make all of his money in the ring as most everyone is quite aware of his relatively successful acting career as well. Growing up Johnson was a huge football fan and played in college on the University of Miami’s national championship team. After graduating he played for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League before being cut from the team in 1995. As a result he decided to  pursue wrestling like his father and his grandfather. The rest is history. He is widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers in history. He has won 17 championship reigns in the WWE, including 10 as a world heavyweight champion.
